Do you forgive me?

Sorry for missing yesterday. Our receptionist called in sick so I was on the front desk all day and it was a busy Monday.

Haven't missed very much. About to finish the Galbraith book so nothing new yet to report there.

We're hitting the mid-season hiatuses of most TV shows now and won't be back until after the holidays in 2018, so there hasn't been a whole lot there either. There wasn't a new NCIS: Los Angeles Sunday night.

There wasn't a new Scorpion last night.

Tonight, although we don't have This Is Us ...

we do have Chicago Med because it just started recently. "Trust Your Gut":

When Goodwin receives financial complaints from the hospital board, she is forced to implement new guidelines that cause headaches for the doctors. Dr. Rhodes  and Ava  continue to compete in the operating room, while Dr. Charles and Dr. Reese are surprised when they treat a man who has a peculiar theory about his sickness. Dr. Manning and Dr. Choi  can’t figure out what is wrong with a young girl, leading them to look to a questionable source for answers.

But it's on at 9 so I don't know if I'll make it and I'll probably wind up watching it tomorrow.

And an episode of The Curse of Oak Island, "Bone Dry":

An old document's discovery offers new clues on the exact location of the Money Pit; and the fellowship of the dig makes a cryptic discovery at uncharted depths.

A quick recap of the weekend:
-- Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D was AWESOME! What a reboot for its last season!

-- We watched via On Demand The Hitman's Bodyguard which was better than I thought it would be.

-- I started to watch The Crown on Netflix about Elizabeth II in her pre- and early days as Queen. Wonderful production values.

-- I read a little, napped a bit, etc.

Steve has a board meeting tonight. Dinner is on the fly.

Go on.... Have a great day!

Much love,
PK the Bookeemonster
